Dusty has been selected to compete in the 2008 Extreme Mustang Makeover in Fort
Worth, TX September 18-21, 2008!! This is a huge honor for Dusty and has been a
great experience so far for all of us! He made a trip to Palomino Valley, NV on
Father's Day weekend to pick up his Mustang. Since then he has been getting him
used to people working around him and getting him started under saddle. Telford is
an AWESOME horse and has been a lot of fun to work with. For more on Telford
and Dusty's progress, check out the Mustang page. We are still looking for a few
good sponsors, check out our page to see our current sponsors and be sure to help
us thank them by supporting their business!
Guided Rides/Cattle Drives

"You guys are sure living a neat life!" You would be surprised how many times we have heard that! That
statement gave us an idea. Why not let other people live our life too? We have plans to do guided trail rides
through our unique channeled scab lands, cattle drives, and even allowing people to attend our branding. We
may even do a mini "Cowboy Camp" which we would teach participants horsemanship, cattle handling, roping,
fence checking/mending, and other skills that are required of a working cowboy on a ranch. We are still in the
process of determining fees, lodging, meals, schedules, etc. If you have an interest in this venture, please let us
know. Do you have ideas for what you would like to participate in? Let us know, maybe it's an idea that we
hadn't thought of. Check back for more info on this latest venture.

For those of you coming from the
Spokane area, we are located 11.5 miles
west of Davenport on State Highway 2,
just past the Telford Rest Area on the
right side of the road. For those of you
coming from the west, we are 8 miles east
of Creston, just past the Rest Area sign
on the left side of the road.

You asked for it now I can hopefully supply it! As Kade allows or when a babysitter is available I will start giving
basic riding lessons. This will be a "from the ground up lesson" format. Because I feel that if you can not handle
the horse from the ground you shouldn't be in the saddle. The rate will be $20/hour. The barn has lights, so we
can always do late evening lessons! Anyone interested, please contact Cindy. Need help with your horse too?
Dusty will do lessons with you and your horse to help you through some problems you might be having.
We are looking for people to apprentice Dusty with training colts. Guy or gal makes no difference, age and race
not really a factor either. But, you MUST be willing and open minded and willing to train Dusty's way. He is willing
to teach you what he knows, he only asks that you be willing to learn it. You will be able to bring one of your own
colts and will also be riding some outside training colts of ours. This is not always an easy job, some of the colts
that we get in will be kind of rank, this is another thing you need to accept. If any of this interests you, please
contact us.
Do you want to know the background of your Quarter Horse? I am now doing pedigrees for the public. Having
been a pedigree buff for more than 15 years I have a good collection of pedigrees and books to help me find
your horses distant relatives. Please contact Cindy for more information on this service. Five to eleven
generation pedigrees available for most horses.
