Dusty placed 9th out of 52 participants in his division!! This was awesome due to the fact that he was the
only one in the top 10 that hadn't been there last year! The whole family went on the trip and it was a lot of
fun! Telford did a great job and Riley was even able to ride him all around the Will Rogers Complex.
Telford is an AWESOME horse and has been a lot of fun to work with. A HUGE thank you to all of our
AWESOME sponsors!!!! This adventure wouldn't have been possible without you! Cindy's Mom and Dad
ended up buying Telford so that he could make the trip back home with his "family". We thank them a
bunch and enjoy every day we get to spend with this great one of a kind horse!
Guided Rides/Cattle Drives
|
"You guys are sure living a neat life!" You would be surprised how many times we have heard that! That
statement gave us an idea. Why not let other people live our life too? We have plans to do guided trail rides
through our unique channeled scab lands, cattle drives, and even allowing people to attend our branding. We
may even do a mini "Cowboy Camp" which we would teach participants horsemanship, cattle handling, roping,
fence checking/mending, and other skills that are required of a working cowboy on a ranch. We are still in the
process of determining fees, lodging, meals, schedules, etc. If you have an interest in this venture, please let us
know. Do you have ideas for what you would like to participate in? Let us know, maybe it's an idea that we
hadn't thought of. Check back for more info on this latest venture.

For those of you coming from the
Spokane area, we are located 11.5 miles
west of Davenport on State Highway 2,
just past the Telford Rest Area on the
right side of the road. For those of you
coming from the west, we are 8 miles east
of Creston, just past the Rest Area sign
on the left side of the road.

Do you want to know the background of your Quarter Horse? I am now doing pedigrees for the public. Having
been a pedigree buff for more than 15 years I have a good collection of pedigrees and books to help me find
your horses distant relatives. Please contact Cindy for more information on this service. Five to eleven
generation pedigrees available for most horses.
Whew! My how time flies when you are having fun! There has been so much to update
and so little time to get it done! I will be working on the web site in what little spare time
I have in the next couple of weeks. Please either check back often or check back in a
couple of weeks to see all of the great new updates!
Loomix dealership coming soon!!
|
Last October Cindy started delivering Loomix, a liquid cattle supplement for the local
Veterinary clinic. This year, we are hoping to work out the finances and work at taking
over the business from Dr. Erickson. Due to his busy schedule he has found that he
doesn't have the time that this business deserves to be truly beneficial to all of the
ranchers. We see this as an opportunity to provide the local cattlemen and cattlewomen
with a great product for their cattle. More info on this venture coming soon!!

Yep, you read it right! Here is your chance to "adopt" a cow on our ranch without all of the
expenses of actually owning the cow and managing the ranch! For the small fee of $25 you
get your pick of the 35 cows on our ranch. You will have this cow for the year to name, get
updates on and even come visit if you like. We will have pictures available of your cow and
will update you on her status by email. A cow's life is actually quite interesting! You will be
updated on her calving, pasture movements, boyfriends (also known as the bulls!), and
anything else you can think of. Want to know the true cost of owning a cow? We can let you
know as the year goes by just what we spend on your adopted cow. All 35 cows are currently
available so get yours picked out now! Some cows already have their ranch names and a
couple even know them. So, if you are picking one of those cows, sorry but their name has
stuck and we won't be changing it! Below are the available cows by number and a couple
with their names:
40, 102, 109, 110, 111-Emma, 118, 119, 212, 310, 313, 329, 414, 415, 516, 517, 518, 519, 527, 533, 535, 618, 632, 641, 703-Tango, 704, 723, 724, 725-Goat II, 733, 805, 811, 816, 923, 036
